A Reflection of You

The universe doesn’t have a face,
No mouth to feed, no eyes to see--

It simply exists in between you and me.

When I look at you, I see myself.
How can I preach compassion
If I treat you like an outsider?

This is your home,
The universe is your home.

You were created from your own hands.
Can’t you see that you live inside of yourself?

You are simply destroying yourself.
